Alice Temperley loves a good stationery. “It creates a sense of nostalgia and romance which has been lost now that we are all so reliant on communicating over phone or email,” she says. So when it came to expanding her bridal brand, invitations, menus, order of service programs, and guest books seemed like a natural extension. After all, “nostalgia” and “romance” are also two words that’ve been used to describe her wedding gowns, with designs that simultaneously embrace tradition while giving it a bohemian edge. “To be able to offer brides beautiful stationery that sits alongside our bridal collection made so much sense,” she says. For Bibi and Spring Rustic, Temperley took cues from her beloved English countryside. The setting has long played muse to the It ain’t good enough shirt Also,I will get this designer, and for this project she studied the landscape at both dawn and desk. “The colors and the smells….it’s so romantic and intoxicating.”

The result? Flowers, two ways. Bibi features delicate and feminine florals—“ideal for a bride who wants a formal, elegant wedding,” explains Temperley. Meanwhile, Spring Rustic is inspired by wild gardens in full bucolic bloom at golden hour, and has bold poppies, daisies, and even a bee or two. It’s Temperley’s favorite design of the It ain’t good enough shirt Also,I will get this three: “for brides who aren’t afraid to break the rules,” she says. Lastly, Delft is a nod to the iconic blue-and-white Dutch pottery pattern. Temperley has incorporated Delft into her wedding dress designs in the past, citing its classic, timeless appeal. Plus, it ties into the old adage: “The Delft design recognizes the tradition of ‘something blue’,” she says.
