Not so much the Awesome zelensky I need ammunition not a ride! Ukraine lover shirt in other words I will buy this actual clothes or looks, because I perform them. What gives me dysphoria or stresses me out is usually the direction, specially when they’re dated or disrespectful. I’m always mindful of the fact that projects are conceived and defined way before I’m booked, so I stay open minded to anything, but sometimes directions can be disrespectful or unnecessary. For example, I had a job not too long ago and the man that was directing me kept saying like be this guy that fucks all the girls or be the guy that is dominant and likes to brawl, and I’m like… how is this helpful? How does this help me move and pose in a way that is productive? I get it if you ask me to be strong or dominant or intimidating. These outdated references or manners of speaking are just unproductive. Those give me dysmorphia. I do want to clarify that it’s not about rejecting masculinity. I love masculinity and it’s beautiful and I live it. It’s more about where it’s coming from. There’s masculine attitudes that can be so sexy and protective and beautiful. It’s not about trying to not be that, it’s about where it’s coming from.

Not to generalize, but on the Awesome zelensky I need ammunition not a ride! Ukraine lover shirt in other words I will buy this business end, for example, people are maybe less informed or simply less exposed to things. But generally, when it comes to people in production or logistics or on the business end of the clients, they’re formal and follow protocol. They are respectful because of their business-focused mentality. If we’re talking about diversity, I think that all the talk about diversity in bodies, gender, races, etc. has to also expand to the source. So there should be more diverse casting directors so there’s a broader range of perspectives, and the rest applies to everyone else that is part of the process. If you’re telling me that a white, privileged, European man is already in charge of all of these brands and their castings, it doesn’t make sense to me. But I’m hopeful, because I find that the spaces where I’m the most comfortable are done by people who are open minded, kind, and diverse. It’s exciting to see these people take over, because if the casting perspective is diverse and forward-looking, it gets reflected elsewhere in the project too.
